Your outsourced finance partner

You grow the business.
BE Solutions will help grow the money.

Someone to manage the money — so you can focus on the product, the customers, and the growth.

That can start with keeping the books clean and making sure bills, payroll, and reporting are handled. As the company grows, we help manage cash coming in and cash going out, understand profitability, build forecasts, and make better financial decisions.

One finance partner that grows with your business.

The pattern we see

Growth makes finance more complicated.

Early on, an owner, a bookkeeper, a CPA, and a few spreadsheets are enough. Then the business grows — and the financial side quietly becomes a business of its own.

Somewhere along the way, the numbers stop keeping up with the company. That's usually the moment an outside finance team earns its keep — not to take over your business, but to take the financial weight off it.

See how we work
  • Transactions, payroll, and vendor bills all multiply.
  • Customers owe more money, and collections slip.
  • Cash becomes harder to predict week to week.
  • Margins get harder to see by job, customer, or service line.
  • The books close late — or not on a schedule at all.
  • Reporting matters more, and mistakes cost more.
  • Management needs forward-looking numbers, not just history.
The business has outgrown informal financial management. That's where we come in.

Step 02

Then, see how we help you grow.

One team that scales from clean books to CFO-level guidance. You only use the level you need.

One firm, four levels

Your finance function should grow with your business.

Most clients start at one level and grow into the next. You won't need to switch providers as your needs grow. The finance function grows with you.

Small business and skilled trades

Built for owners who would rather run the business than run the books.

You didn't start the company to become an accountant. You started because you're good at the work. Then it grew — and suddenly you're buried in invoices, payroll, collections, and cash.

You run the jobs. We'll help run the numbers. We give growing owners the accounting systems, financial visibility, and financial management of a larger company — without forcing them to build a finance department themselves.

You're on the jobsite.

The company still needs bills paid, customers invoiced, payroll reconciled, books closed, and cash watched — every week.

You're bidding the next project.

You should already know whether the last few projects actually made money.

You're thinking about another crew.

You should understand what that hire does to cash and profitability before you commit.

  • Management reporting is thin, and the month-end close drags.
  • There's no reliable forecast, and future cash needs are unclear.
  • Budgeting is informal, and the controller is stretched thin.
  • You have accounting staff, but no real FP&A capability.
  • Growth is outpacing the systems and the finance team.
We can operate as your finance department, work alongside your existing team, add supplemental capacity, or step in as interim leadership.

Growing and mid-market

When the company has outgrown basic accounting.

Your accounting may be technically working — but reporting is thin, the close drags, and leadership can't see cash clearly enough to plan.

We add management reporting, a faster close, forecasting, controls, FP&A, and finance leadership — as much or as little as the organization needs, built to scale with you.

Finance for Growing Companies

Why it matters

What changes when we take this on.

The bookkeeping and reconciliations matter, but they're not the point. Here's what actually changes for you and the business.

01

Get your time back

Stop spending nights and weekends managing the accounting.

02

Know where you stand

Reliable monthly reporting gives you a clear financial picture — on schedule.

03

See cash before it's a problem

Forecast liquidity instead of discovering issues from the bank balance.

04

Understand what makes money

Analyze customers, jobs, services, and margins — not just totals.

05

Make better growth decisions

Model hiring, equipment, and expansion before you commit the capital.

06

Build a business that can scale

Create financial processes that don't depend entirely on the owner.

How we work

A straightforward way to take the financial side off your plate.

Understand

Learn how the business runs, where the finance function stands today, and what's creating the problems.

Build

Clean up and establish the processes, reporting, controls, and systems the business needs.

Operate

Take responsibility for the agreed financial functions and run them consistently, month after month.

Improve

Use better information to improve the cash coming in and going out, profitability, forecasting, and decisions.

Why outsource

Build the finance function without building the entire department.

A complete finance team is expensive to hire, hard to manage, and rarely needed all at once.

We give you the right level of help as your needs change — from a bookkeeper's discipline to a CFO's judgment. You don't carry every role on payroll before you're ready.

Find the right level of support

Bookkeeper

Day-to-day transactions, reconciliations, and clean records.

Accountant

Close, financial statements, and accurate reporting.

Controller

Oversight of the financial operation, cash, and controls.

FP&A and CFO

Forecasting, strategy, capital, and financial leadership.

Step 03

Finally, decide with confidence.

See how we work, get your questions answered, and start with a simple conversation.

Why us

Serious expertise for serious businesses.

We earn trust the way a strong finance team does — with reliable process, senior judgment, and real ownership of the numbers.

Process over promises

A month-end close that lands on schedule and reporting you can rely on — the same discipline, every month.

Senior-level judgment

Controller- and CFO-level thinking applied to your business, not just data entry — so the numbers actually drive decisions.

We own the outcome

We take responsibility for the financial functions you hand us and run them like they're our own.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What does an outsourced accounting firm do?

We run some or all of your financial function from the outside — bookkeeping, month-end close, reporting, cash management, forecasting, and financial leadership. You keep control of the business; we take responsibility for the financial operations you hand us.

What's the difference between a bookkeeper and a controller?

A bookkeeper records transactions and keeps the books current. A controller manages the whole financial operation — owning the close, reporting, cash, controls, and the quality of the numbers — and turns accurate books into a functioning financial-management system.

When does a small business need a controller?

Usually when the books are technically fine but nobody is actively managing cash, margins, and processes — or when the owner has become the default financial manager. If you need someone responsible for the financial operation rather than just recording it, that's controller-level work.

When does a company need a fractional CFO?

When you need CFO-level thinking — strategy, forecasting, capital planning, banking relationships, and decision support — but don't yet need or want a full-time executive on payroll. A fractional CFO gives you that judgment at the level of engagement your business actually requires.

What's the difference between accounting and FP&A?

Accounting explains what already happened. FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) helps you understand what's likely to happen next, why performance is changing, and what to do about it — budgets, forecasts, scenarios, and profitability analysis built around decisions.

Can you work with our existing CPA, bookkeeper, or accounting team?

Yes. We regularly work alongside an existing tax CPA, an internal bookkeeper, or a full accounting department — as their finance leadership, as supplemental capacity, or by owning specific functions. We coordinate rather than compete.

Do you replace our tax accountant?

No. Tax preparation and outsourced finance are complementary roles. We keep your books and reporting clean and coordinate with your tax CPA — we don't prepare tax returns unless that service is specifically added to your engagement.

What does outsourced accounting cost?

It depends on the scope, the condition of your current books, and the level of support you need. Most engagements are a predictable monthly fee tied to the functions we run. We'll scope it with you after understanding the business — no obligation.

Can we start with bookkeeping and add CFO services later?

Absolutely — that's the point of our model. Most clients start at one level and expand as they grow. You don't have to replace providers as your financial needs get more sophisticated; the finance function grows with the business.

How does onboarding work?

We start with a conversation, review the current state of your finances, then clean up and build the processes and reporting you need before taking over ongoing operations. See How We Work.

Let's talk

Your business shouldn't outgrow its finance function.

Whether you need the books handled properly, better financial management, or CFO-level support, we'll help determine what your business actually needs.

No hard sell. Start with a conversation about the business.
